What is bellabox? How do I become a box member?

bellabox is a subscription service where every month, for the price of $15 (which includes premium trackable postage), you'll receive a box filled with four to five deluxe samples from high-end, boutique and cult brands from around the world. Each month will be a different mix of beauty products, ranging from makeup, skincare, fragrance, body, hair products and sometimes we?ll even include a lifestyle product! The samples are generously sized, to ensure you can really test out the product and discover the products you love. To join us as a box member, sign up via bellabox.com.au/box-membership.html

How is my box sent?

Your box is sent through eParcel, which is the premium, trackable offering from Australia Post. It will arrive any time between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday (excluding PO Boxes) so make sure you use the delivery address where you will most likely be during business hours. If you work full time, we recommend getting the package delivered to your work. If you are not at home during the delivery time, our delivery instructions are to ‘'leave in a secure place out of the weather'. This is done at the postage worker's discretion - if they believe there is a safe place such as in your letterbox they will leave it there otherwise they will leave a card instructing you to pick it up from the post office.

Can I track where my monthly box is?

When your box is dispatched from our external warehouse, you will receive a tracking notification email from Australia Post, which you can use to see where your box is and when you can expect it to be delivered.

Will you tell me what is coming in my box?

The content of your box is a real surprise! To gauge what type of brands and products you may receive, you can check out our brand partner’s page. We are continually scouring the globe to bring you the best products out there and if it is not available in Australia, then we will bring it in.

Is my box customised for me?

It is important to fill out your profile as we try to customise your box to suit you as best we can. Whilst many samples are sent to everyone, these products are chosen carefully to ensure that they’ll work for a wide range of styles, skin types, and colourings. Other samples are chosen specifically for your skin and beauty needs and style. Your profile can be checked/changed at any time by logging into your bellabox account and clicking on the appropriate tab along the left.

How do I get more information on how to use the samples?

The bellabox website has all the detailed information on how to get the most out of your samples. In the Shop section of our site, visit the product page of the sample and you can learn more about the product, as well as where to purchase the full-size item. You can also read our online magazine for daily updates on the products you will sample in your bellabox.

I love this sample! Where can I buy it?

You can buy full-size versions of most of the sampled products directly through the bellabox shop. If we are unable to stock your desired item, you can find out where to purchase it on its product information page on our site.

I just wanted one bellabox - why have I been charged again?

bellabox is an ongoing subscription service, much like a magazine subscription. As such, we do not have the option of purchasing just one box - when you sign up as a bellabox member, you agree to the setup of a recurring payment profile, which is set to deduct future membership fees on the first of the month for that month's box without you having to manually do anything. This will continue unless you decide to cancel and if you would ever like to cancel your bellabox membership, the normal procedure is compile the Cancellation Form our system will process your request beetween the 26th and the 30th of each month (please see below for further details on cancelling).

How does the rewards program work?

The bellabox Rewards Program is designed to help you get the most out of your membership. We reward you with points for doing the things you already do: shopping on bellabox.com.au, referring friends to bellabox or by giving feedback on samples. Active box members can use their points for discounts of full-sized products in the bellabox online store. For more information, go to Bella Rewards Program.

How are rewards points added to my account?

Points are added to your account once your order is processed, be it your store order, your membership order or your friend’s membership order (for referrals only).

When do my Reward Points expire?

Points expire exactly one year from the date they are awarded, so be sure to use them to purchase the full-size of your favourite products as you discover them. Points will expire 365 days after issue if not used.

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently we accept credit/debit card and paypal payments. For paypal you will be directed to your paypal account to confirm your membership with bellabox.

How can I change my payment method?

If you’d like to change your payment method, please email us and we will send you the instructions to do so for your specific account. To change your payment method, we will need to suspend your account for you to resubscribe and make the necessary changes. If your monthly box payment for the current box has not yet gone through, we will action this for you within the noted one business day. However, if you resubscribe when payment for the current box has already been received, you will pay for your bellabox twice! After the current month’s box orders have closed, your account will be suspended so your recurring payment with your current details will be cancelled and you can resubscribe to update your payment details. Confirmation of this process will be emailed once final box orders for the month have closed - after the 25th.

How do I change my address?

Your account details, including your shipping address, can be changed at any time by logging into your bellabox account via bellabox.com.au and clicking on the appropriate tabs along the left. If your change is made after we have collected addresses for the first box send out (usually around the 3rd of each month), this change will be reflected from the subsequent box. Unfortunately we cannot intercept sent post to inform them of your changed address, so it's very important to keep these details up to date as best as possible. We cannot take responsibility for returned parcels where addresses have been entered incorrectly, addresses have not been updated before we collect our shipment list, or if you fail to pick up your bellabox from your local post office following attempted delivery.

What is your cancellation policy?

Annual memberships may only be cancelled at the termination of the membership period and not during the term of the membership. Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time. All membership cancellation requests should be directed to compile the Cancellation Form. Given our required notice period, please know if you compile the form after the 25th of any month, your cancellation will take effect from the subsequent month.

Please note that cancellations will be confirmed between the 25th and 30th of each month, at which time you will receive a cancellation confirmation email from us.

Do you ship overseas?

Currently bellabox is only available to residents of Australia. If you are living in Singapore, you can visit our Singapore website at http://www.bellabox.sg.

Why has my account been suspended?

Our Accounts department deduct money from your chosen account on the 1st of every month, if there are insufficient funds in the account your account will be temporarily suspended. They will then retry deducting the amount on the 18th of the month. If the transaction fails again, your account will be suspended.
To resubscribe:

  • 1. Go to the bellabox website and log in at “My Account”
  • 2. Go to "My Dashboard" - it should say 'Membership Status: Non box member'
  • 3. Add a box membership to your cart via bellabox.com.au/box-membership.html and proceed through the checkout as normal, including entering your payment details

    Your initial payment for your first box is processed on the same day you join bellabox. All future, recurring payments are processed on the 1st of every month following.

    When will my bellabox be sent?

    bellabox is a subscription service, just like a magazine subscription, so you get a box each month. We send out the bellaboxes around the 10th of each month. If you sign up after the 3rd, when we collect our addresses for our first shipment, then you will get your first box in the second shipment which will ship from the 25th or if we are sold out your first box will be sent the following month. You will see which box will be your first when you subscribe.

    What do I get with bellobox?

    Every quarter (every 3 months), you’ll receive a box filled with 8 to 12 deluxe samples from high-end, boutique and cult brands from around the world. Each month will be a different mix of beauty products, ranging from skincare, fragrance, body, hair products and even a lifestyle product. The samples are generously sized, to ensure you can really test out the product and discover the products you love. As our quarterly boxes are based around the seasons, they are also made to suit your seasonal grooming needs!

    What is the cost of bellobox?

    The price is $30.00 each quarter for the bellobox. There are no extra charges – it even includes packaging and sending right to your door

    When do you process payment for bellobox?

    Your initial payment is processed on the same day you join bellobox. All future, recurring payments are processed on the 1st of every quarter and quarters run with the seasons. For example, if you signed up during January, the first box you would pay for and receive would be the summer box, then you can next expect to be charged on March 1st for the autumn box.

    When will my bellobox be sent?

    bellobox is a subscription service, much like a magazine subscription, so you will be sent one box each quarter (every 3 months). We send out the belloboxes around the 25th of the first month of each quarter. If you sign up as new member after this time, your box will be sent out on or around the 25th of the next month in that same season.

    Baby Membership

    What do I get with bellababy?

    Every month, you’ll receive a box filled with four to five deluxe samples from high-end, boutique and cult baby brands from around the world for both mother and baby. Each month will be a different mix of products. Samples are generously sized, to ensure you can really test out the product and discover those that you love best.

    When do you process payment for bellababy?

    Your initial payment for your first bellababy box is processed on the same day you join bellababy. All future, recurring payments are processed on the 1st of every month.

    When will my bellababy be sent?

    bellababy is like a magazine subscription - we send out the boxes on or around the 25th of each month. However, if you sign up after the 20th of any month, when we collect addresses for our shipment list, you will miss that month’s shipment - your first box will be sent to you the following month. As payment for your initial box is deducted upon sign up, you will not be charged again on the 1st of the next month. Instead, payment will resume the following month (your second month as a subscriber) i.e. If you subscribe on January 28th, your initial automatic payment will be for your February box (your first box). Your next payment will be the 1st of March, for your March box (your second box).

    Is my box personalized for the age of my baby?

    bellababy is suited to mothers and babies within the first 1 – 2 years of bub’s life. Products have been chosen to suit this age group, or to introduce mothers to exciting products that will continue to suit baby as he or she becomes a toddler.

    Gift Subscription

    I just bought a gift but there was nowhere to put in my friends address, how do I make sure it gets to her?

    When purchasing a gift subscription enter your friends email and name as the receiver. Once your order has gone through for the purchase of the gift subscription, an email will be sent to the receiver that contains a unique code, which they redeem to activate their account. Once their account is activated, they will need to complete their own beauty profile and enter their own shipping address.

    When will my friend receive her gift?

    In order for your friend to receive her gift subscription, she must first activate her account, including completing her beauty profile and entering her shipping address. To activate her account, she will have received an email with a unique code to set up her own account. We send out the bellaboxes around the 10th of each month. If they redeem their subscription after the 3rd, when we collect our addresses for our first shipment, then they will get their first box in the second shipment which will ship from the 25th.

    Can I gift a Men’s or Baby subscription?

    At this point in time, the only way to gift a Men’s or Baby subscription, is to create an account for yourself and put in your friends shipping address. Alternatively, get the box sent to you and you can personally give your friend the box each month.
