In It For the Long Haul

HOME

Travelling is tiresome at the best of times - but never more so than on a long plane trip.  As I am winging it to Asia this weekend, I thought I would show the bb beauties my favourite rescue remedies to beat the on-board blahs.  Please look at the information contained in this article to ensure you have a stylish and skin-tastic flight! A row of lights may even appear in the event of a facial emergency...

Thirsty Work

When you are in a seriously artificial environment, such as a plane cabin, your skin is in dire need of moisture.  Enter the cosmically good Kosmea Rosewater Hydrating Spritz - the perfect size for travelling, this non-aerosol planet-friendly pump spray is just what your face needs to stay fresh and fabulous.  Don't forget to add further moisture by drinking water rather than wine - the results of a plane hangover are hard to ignore...

Cleanliness is Next To...

Let's face it - travelling is a dirty business - literally.  So having a product such as Herban Essentials Towelettes with lemon or orange essential oil added are  a great way to stay sanitised and smell fabulous at the same time!  Singapore Air's flight attendants sampled mine on my flight - and thought they were 'like having an orchard on your hands'.  Bio-degradable and generously sized, get rid of grime without smelling like a strange cleaning solution!

Cracks Seem to Be Appearing

Dry lips are another flight health hazard - the air is not hydrated enough, which means your pout will not be pretty if you don't keep it protected.  Pangea Lip Balm is a nourishing and natural kindness for a killer kisser!  With two delicious tastes to choose from, this Aussie environmental lover will have you reaching out to travel...

How Utterly Fab!

Want to make your skin feel as smooth as silk while you are mid-air?  Use FAB Facial Repair Cream and send your skin a sky-high SOS - think of it as a parachute for plumper, firmer looking skin!  Intensely hydrating, this is the perfect mini-repair kit in a jar.  A huge favourite already with bb beauties, this cream is destined to be a cult classic.

Very A-peeling

Elemis is a cult brand in the U.S. - and with excellent reason.  Their Papaya Plumping Mask is an awesome airborne option to make your skin feel fresh and forever young.  Sit back, relax and enjoy the inflight entertainment…as the mask firms and tightens, leaving you invigorated and ready to face the rigours of looking glam poolside when you reach your destination!

So put your chair in the non-upright position, accept a (just one) glass of champagne and travel in style - by making your face feel fab as you fly!  Don't forget to look after the rest of your body too by doing an occasional stretch and walk around the aisles…airline exercise guidelines really are there for good reason - so hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and make your frequent flyer beauty products work for you by using your rewards points in the bellabox store!

Now where did I put my trashy mag...

    Dear Kate

If you weren't so fabulous at nailing perfect beauty solutions, I would suggest you pursue a career as an artist...you have clearly missed your calling ;)

Now to stock up on these products before my November haul to NYC!

    A xx
