It’s time for some serious hair envy as we take a look at our favourite celebrity hairstyles of the week.
There were plenty of celeb events to choose from, with Coachella’s second weekend going out with a bang, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in full swing and our favourite Gossip Girl on the promotional trail for her new movie.
Maybe you’ll get inspired to try something new!
Blake Lively – The Age Of Adaline Premiere in New York
Blake Lively wowed us in lace at premiere of The Age Of Adaline in New York, but as usual with Blake it was her hair that got our attention. Her locks have been braided and twisted into place on one side to allow her perfect blonde curls to tumble loosely over her shoulder. To keep long hair looking this glossy and hydrated use a treatment like Al'chemy Lavender & Anthyllis Leave-In Conditioner. It contains pure active botanics to add moisture and shine to your hair.
FKA twigs – Coachella
Rising star (and fiancée of Robert Pattinson) FKA twigs took to the stage at Coachella with her hair in two super long plaits. It’s pretty, functional and perfect for the next time you’re performing in the desert to thousands of people. A style like this requires some serious hold, particularly if you’ve got layered hair. Try Joico Power Gel Styling Gel – you’ll barely need to use hairties because your hair will be locked in place.
Zayn Malik – The Asian Awards
The most talked about hair of the week belongs to Zayn Malik – or should we say lack of hair. He made his first official post-One Direction appearance at the Asian Awards in London with his mum on his arm and his gorgeous locks completely shaved off. The last time a shaved head looked this good was when Justin Timberlake was rocking one in the mid ‘00s.
Nicole Trunfio – Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
Low ponies were trending on and off the catwalk at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney. There’s nothing easier than a centre parted ponytail tied loosely at the nape of your neck. Nicole Trunfio mixed hers up with a looped low bun. This style can be worn messy and teased or sleek and stylish – it’s totally up to you!
Dianna Agron – Bare Premiere
Dianna Agron keeps the lob love strong with this wistful, curly do. You can easily mimic this with a curling iron, just remember to twist the curls outwards and towards the back of your head rather than inwards. If you’re a bottle blonde like Dianna you should use specialty prods to maintain your colour. We love Marc Daniels' Blue Cypress Blonde Hair Serum to eliminate brassy tones and nourish hair.
