The red carpet season has kicked off with a bang! And while we spend February patiently waiting for the raddest of red carpets to roll around (the Oscars!) we are letting our beauty routines be inspired by all things awards season. Here are our 5 favourite looks so far...
The lovely Lorde wowed on and off the redcarpet with her performance of Royals at the Grammy's. But her lipstick took on a life of it's own, with tweeters hashtagging the heck out of it and wondering just what shade it was... A mixture of black, and purple bullets and maroon lip liner, you can steal this stunning goth-like lip with just one product - Lime Crime's Poisonberry Lipstick.
Aussie 'new-comer' (we totally remember her from Neighbours though) Margot Robbie has given some amazing RC of late - especially at the Golden Globes. However, we loved her similar look from the Wolf of Wall Street just as much. How amaze is that bronze eyeliner? It really makes her blue eyes pop! Try the Eye of Horus Bronze Amulet Goddess Pencil.
Before she got nearly nakie and sang one of the best duets of all time with hubby Jay, Beyonce looked extra smoking on the Grammy RC. Even though we loved her crimson lips and tips, plus a charcoal eye, it was her shaggy and mussed up bob that we fell hard for. The perfect example of a beach wave! But if you won't be venturing anywhere near the salt water, reach for a styling spray instead. We loved the Scandalous Rock Chick Wave Spray which encourages waves, sans crunchy locks.
Who didn't adore Lupita Nyong'o when she hit the RC in her gorgeous red dress and lip to match at the Golden Globes? Even those the bold colour was the scene stealer of her look, we are digging on her intricate eyeliner instead. To steal for yourself, grab a fine lined texta tipped liner, like this one from the trusty Eye of Horus. It'll help you with the precise nature of the style.
Ms. Wilde is preggo and proud - and who wouldn't be if they looked like that in full-length sequins? But as banging as her silhouette was, we were crushing on those locks. Olivia is sticking to the balayage trend like it's no-ones business and we admire that. Perfect for her, as no bleach needs wander to her scalp while she is cooking a little cutie up! BUT if you want your two-toned locks to look this good, you best use a conditioning treatment like Ms. Wilde must. I love the AlfaParf Semi Di Lino Diamond Maskwith it's nourising vitamin combo of ingredients.
