Adorn Mineral Cosmetics prides itself on the ethos of being entirely toxic free and cruelty free, carrying an ethical line cosmetics, to naturally suit any style. Not only are their products kind to skin and kind on the eyes, all products are also kind to the environment, thanks to their 100% recyclable packaging, and kind to animals, being PETA registered. We adore Adorn's range so much, it was too hard to pick 3 top products, so instead, we've decided to share with you our top 3 of their 'How To' videos, as well as the products you'll need to carry them off.
How To... use your primer...
What you'll need:
Foundation Base Skin Primer
Face and Body Bronzer
Everyone should be using a primer. Unfortunately, not many gals know how or even why they should be using it. Here is the lowdown: primers work to create a barrier between your skin and your makeup, so that it not only wears better, but lasts longer too. Primers can also add hydration to skin as well as 'filling in' pores and fine lines, to create the perfect blank canvass for makeup. We love the Adorn Primer for plenty of reasons, but one of the biggies? It's packed full of Certified Organic Rosewater, Witch Hazel Extract and Grapefruit Seed Extract.
After you've smoothed on your primer (see How To #1) reach for a loose foundation. The Adorn Loose Foundation with SPF 15+ is of course part of their toxic free formulations, which means it's non-comedogenic (won't clog the pores) whilst maintaining a great coverage. Tap your Kabuki brush (a short brush with 'stumpy', tightly packed together hairs) into your foundation and 'buff' into the skin.
Next add some bronzer to make your makeup look more dimensional, therefore, more natural! Apply your bronzer with a bronzer or blush brush. The Adorn vegan brush is perfectly shaped to swipe their natural bronze powder onto cheeks, temples and under the jawline. These are the places that bronzer looks most natural. Plus, by adding it to these parts of the face, you are adding flattering definition.
How To... turn your eyeshadow into a nail polish...
What you'll need:
Adorn Mineral Cosmetics Eye Create Intensive Eyeshadow
Ozotic Nail Polish Base Coat
This little trick is MUCH easier than it sounds (which is why you should watch Briony's video!) Simply grab your favourite clear nail varnish and dip the end into some loose eyeshadow. Paint your nails liek you normally would, and the eye shadow will blend throughout the clear varish, colouring your nails with a lovely shimmery finish! Bet you haven't tried that before (I hadn't!) Give it a go for a nail polish colour that suits your eye shadow! Too fun!
Have you tried any of the Adorn Mineral Cosmetics range? Some of our lovely bb members received the eyeshadow in their boxes - why not give the nail polish shadow trick a shot? And don't forget to leave feedback on it so you can receive rewards points to use in our online store. Cheaper beauty products? Yes please! - Lauren
