Thanks for chatting to us and sharing your beauty secrets Monty!
First off, how would you describe your go-to beauty look?
It’s very basic. Being a mum and running a web site doesn’t call for glamour often. To make myself feel a little, extra pretty I pop on fake tan and make my mascara a little heavier.
I pride myself on my swift ability to get ready! I’m not good at much, but getting ready, in like 15 minutes, is a specilaity of mine.
What’s the most cringe-worthy beauty look you’ve ever tried?
It was more with my hair. I have a big forhead. Massive (full of brains!) and I tried to pull off the slicked (with gel) pony. It looked rotten. I also went through a phase of wearing lip liner and NO lipstick. Actually, that’s worse than the slicked hair, isn’t it?
Yes! I have just been thinking it might be time to mix it up. I have been wearing Dolce and Gabanna ‘Rose The one’ for about five years now.
Have you learnt any tips of tricks from makeup artists throughout your career?
I work with a make up artist a few times a month for our filmed interviews. She has taught me how to do a nice eye liner, which I found tricky. A nice thin black line on the top and inside of my upper eye.
March is all about sharing the secrets from our beauty diaries… have you ever kept a diary and did any one ever try to sneak a peek?
Yes I did, I found it when I was moving just last month. It was from when I was 15 and was full of how much I love John Stamos and how much my parents were annoying me. Really in-depth private stuff. That’s as far as I have gone with the diary writing!
And finally, here at bb we are all about beauty discovery! So, we have to know, what’s been your best beauty discovery of all time?
Dry Shampoo - not revolutionary but a time saver and I would be lost without it. Also I use rosehip oil every night and I swear by it.
