This week we take a peak into the life of brand new Mum and all round super-woman - Beyonce!
Beyonce really needs no introduction! Superstar performer, she has nearly done it all. Singing, songwriting, acting, producing – it sure seems Beyonce was born to be a star! bb’s favourite Beyonce skill? The fact that her anthem for ‘Single Ladies’ always manages to draw a huge crowd to any d-floor (and despite our relationship status, we are always part of that crowd!)
After quietly marrying beau Jay Z, Beyonce kept doing her thang – taking over the charts and getting girls to shake their booties all over the world! Now, her latest role is mum to daughter Blue Ivy Carter. She has since shot down all of the crazy rumours surrounding her pregnancy and daughter’s birth (like deflating tummies and body guard birthing partners!) to instead focus on how obsessed she is with her little one – even revealing she now chooses to paint her nails blue for her baby!
Beyonce has admitted that she always choses to look well-groomed whenever she steps outside of her house. She explains that looking good means a lot to her career- that she has worked so hard to build an image of herself that she wants to continue maintain it.
To help keep Beyonce looking as good as she does, we would definitely recommend she uses a great nourishing lotion to keep her stunning coffee coloured skin in perfect condition. We love Alpha-H Liquid Gold Revita and Firming Solution which is great for night-time use, as it jump-starts the skin's metabolism and tightens enlarged pores for a lighter, clearer and more even skin tone.
Any single girl knows that a night out dancing isn’t complete without an amazing scent to signal that they are in the room! Why not try La Perla J'Aime La Nuit to mix it up a little? The woody, oriental notes of this fragrance compliment B’s feminine personality perfectly.
Finally, we think Beyonce would love our Nail Lacqua and Co. gift box in Whip It, which contains a lovely rose shade nail pen plus the sweetest duck egg blue. The perfect colour for Blue Ivy!
Beyond all the stage makeup and costumes, what is most impressive about B is that she has an extreme amount of self-confidence. Whenever she is interviewed she never puts her successful career down to luck. Instead she always acknowledges the hard yards she put in to get her to where she is today. We love that she doesn’t feel guilty about admitting that she created a destiny for herself. Even though Beyonce’s life is at the extreme end of the spectrum, it is important for all women to own their successes and never feel bad about accepting praise or a compliment! Now, the wait is on for her next album, and - if she is to follow in her mum’s footsteps - for Blue Ivy’s debut in about 16 years!
