More than just a pretty face (with amazing eyes!) Kate Bosworth has tried her hand at more than a few professions. Not only has she found success with lead acting roles in hit films, The Horse Whisperer, Blue Crush and Superman Returns, Kate is also a jewellery designer, brand spokesperson and an accomplished equestrian - which helped her land her Horse Whisperer role!

These days, Kate is more well known for her fashion than for her acting, especially after choosing a string of indie flicks over blockbusters - and since styling more than her fair share of winning outfits! Kate is never one to shy away from a bold red pout. Keeping it classy and classic, yet totally modern is all about the rest of the look - keep it simple. Going OTT with your base and eye makeup can take this look from dynamite to Dynasty very fast, and Kate is way more contemporary L.A than 1980's Denver. All you need is a base that's soft and sheer with lashes coated in black mascara. To keep your lip lasting all day, apply then blot with tissue a couple of times.

Romantic rebel

We love Kate's romantic, sweet look, toughened up with a touch of dark liner and her noir-toned outfit. The trick here is to balance the edginess of the liner with the angelic styling of the hair and lip. Kate's tresses look super fresh and natural - they way your hair probably was when you were in primary school before the days of dyes and heatstyling! The number one hair product you'll need is a gentle hair serum that will condition your locks and help them forget about any hair trauma you may have subjected them too! On the lips, add a slick of shiny soft pink gloss before lining your lids and water line with a blackest black kohl liner you can find. The combination of side swept, wavy hair and pink tinted lip looks devine on Bosy and is such a great look for spring! For hair like Kate's you'll need to freshly wash your tresses before blowdrying them - and then reach for a heat styling tool if you aren't a pro at creating soft waves with a hairdryer. Try a barrel curler or slim straightener for creating messy waves, only in the ends. Just make sure you start with a gentle shampoo that strengthens hair, so you don't end up with snapped ends!
