So I’ve started washing my hair with carrots. Before you write me off as a Looney Tune of the Bugs Bunny variety, give me just long enough to tell you about this new hair care regime, which leaves my hair soft, detangled and just, well, fresh – and I don’t even have to blend up a bag of carrots before shower time!
Recently I moved into a new apartment (which in itself is a whole other story) Nearly everybody would know the stress of packing everything you own, only to relocate it and unpack it all again; it is not very fun. But the thing that was most annoying for me was locating my beauty products amongst all of my possessions once I was in the new digs. And after a day of lugging things up and down elevators all you want to do is shower and jump into some PJs! When I discovered I’d left my shampoo and conditioner behind I was shattered, and so was my hideously greasy hair. After trying to hide this hair in a topknot at work the next day I resolved to get my hands on the first shampoo and conditioner I found. Praise the Lord I work at bellabox!
I bought the Yes to Carrots Nourishing Shampoo and the Yes to Carrots Pampering Conditioner without hesitating. Really, how could I not try the range after Thompson’s recommendation?
When I got home and lathered up I really fell in love. The scent of both the Shampoo and Conditioner is delish – not really carroty at all! The only thing slightly reminiscent of the vegetable moniker is the colour. As for the results - well they speak for themselves. And Thompson is glad I followed his advice!
By the way, the penny pincher in me loves that they are only $12.95 each and are both a massive 500mls. I’d much prefer these guys in my shower than supermarket brands that cost just as much and offer much less, both in terms of volume and results.
Yes to Carrots Shampoo and Conditioner in my bathroom, along with my other bellabox beauty prods!
I really recommend giving the Yes to Carrots range a try next time you run out of your shampoo or conditioner.
Have you tried any of the Yes to ranges? If so, which is your favourite? Let me know! - Lauren
