This week I was lucky enough to attend the Sally Hansen Mobile Manicure van (which was really more like a purpose-built, permanent nail salon!) at Federation Square in honor of The Melbourne Cup Carnival. Knowing how much you guys love Sally Hansen products - and manis in general - I'd thought I'd let you in on one of their new and, if you ask me, most spectacular nail products yet...
On arrival I was greeted by the lovely Cecile from Sally Hansen Australia who explained the range to me. Here are the key things I learnt:
- The Complete Salon Manicure range (RRP$16.95) comes in a whooping 21 shades in total! (with news more are soon to be released!!! 3 exclaimation marks for mega-excitable typing!)
- The bottles house a very impressive 7-in-1 formula (base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, colour, top coat, gel-like finish and chip resistant)
- The colour range is right down my ally. If there was an ally, called Lauren's Beauty Ally, you'd find nearly all of these polishes residing there. Especially Pat on the Black (an almost black, very deep berry colour). And especially Bittersweet (a dark chocolate shade)
- That my manicurist Lula was one of the most gorgeous and friendly ladies I'd met and ever had the pleasure of doing my nails! (And not just because I am usually the one doing my nails...)
I chose Bittersweet to pick up the dark bown/berry tones in my dress. I was not disappointed.
The verdict? These polishes are AMAZING - and not just because the shades are right up my ally. Also because my mani is still going strong 4 days on. The only reason I'm itching to take it off is to try their other spectacular shades, but I can't bring myself to until it looks a little worse for wear... who knows how long that will be!
Have you tried any of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure range? Which colour is your fave? Let me know! - Lauren
