Today we ask makeup artist and beauty gura Belinda Zollo - how you should really be washing your make up brushes...
"To keep the quality of makeup brushes, I prefer to clean them with shampoo and conditioner. Start by rinsing each brush under warm water, taking care not to run water passed the hair as this may loosen the glue over time.
Pour a little shampoo into the palm of your hand and swish the tip around, lathering up as you go. Then gently with your fingers wipe clean and rinse well.
Once the water runs clear, you are ready to add a tiny bit of conditioner to the brush tip, then rinse again.
Pat dry with paper towelling, reshaping the hair on each brush as you lay them flat on a towel to dry naturally"
