Today, we look at how to create four eye looks from the Savoir Faire palettes, included in the December bellabox! Lucy demonstrates two looks from the summer palette and Lauren tries out a couple of styles from the winter version. Here's how...
First, Lucy brushed 'Desire', a pinky/terracotta shade over the first 2/3rds of her eyelid and just a touch under her bottom lashes.
Then, she added 'Embrace' golden/yellow shade to the outer 3rd of her lid and blended it in with 'Desire'.
Next, she used the black eyeliner to line the outer corner of her eye in a V shape.
The final touch; a few swipes of the black masara, for a sweet daytime look.
The next look from the summer palette is similar, but more bold look for daytime. Here is how Lucy achieved it...
First off, Lucy applied 'Effigy', a deep bronze/rust colour to the entire lid, concentrating on the outer corners, and adding a little to the lower lashline.
Next, she added 'Embrace', the golden/yellow shade to the brow bone and blended it into the 'Effigy' shade in her crease. She then lined the top lash line with the black eyeliner and smudged it with a bullet brush to create a smokey effect.
Following the liner to the lower waterline, Lucy finished with a few swipes of mascara, keeping the look bold, but still perfect for daytime!
Lucy also helped out with Lauren's looks. First she applied 'Kinetic', a plum/red wine colour over the entire lid.
Then she added 'Immortal' a deep black shade to the outer corner in a V shape.
After blending the dark shade well, we added a thin line of black liner to the top lash line.
The finishing touch: a little more liner to the outer third of the lower lashline and lashings of mascara.
The next look is similar, but uses the green shades to create a dramatic effect...
First, Lucy applied 'Vivacious', a jade/emerald green to the entire lid.
Next, Lucy added 'Immortal', the black colour, along the upper lashline. Bring it slightly higher than where you'd put your liner - at least a third of the way up towards your crease line.
Blend the dark shade into the green one and add 'Devout', the metallic gold shade to the brow bone for definition. Trace the black liner along the top and bottom lashline for extra definition.
Finish with plenty of swipes of black mascara and you are good to go!
