There's not much Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream can't do, which is why it has become a bellabox subscriber favourite and adored by celebrities everywhere.
The natural cure-all balm can be used as a moisturiser, makeup primer, treatment for stressed skin and much, much more. Here are TEN ways Egyptian Magic Cream has earned its cult status.
.
#1 It is an amazing moisturiser
Probably the number one use of this product is as a moisturiser. Rub a little through palms and massage into the skin. Only containing 6 natural ingredients (Honey, Beeswax, Olive Oil, Royal Jelly, Bee Pollen and Bee Propolis) they combine to create an intense moisturising balm, free of additives, preservatives, fragrances, chemicals or parabens. Once out of the tub and rubbed between palms and fingers, it takes on an oil-like consistency, which blends beautifully into the skin.
#2 You can use it as a nourishing Face Mask
This is a great option for use if your skin is really suffering from a dry-spell. I recently took some with me on my trip OS, and after a longhaul flight with drying plane air-con, I used the Egyptain Magic Cream as a face mask. First, tie your hair up or throw a headband on to keep your locks out of the way. Then, use a little more of the product than usual (than you would for moisturising, for example) and rub all over your face, right after cleansing. Don't go too overboard, but put more on than you feel would usually 'sink in'. Wait for 20 minutes to let the ingredients get to work, before wiping excess off with a tissue. Best done before bed, your skin should wake up feeling much more nourished than before!
#3 It's great at treating cuts
With 6 super healing ingredients, Eygptian Magic Cream is ace for treating small cuts and burns (if treating burns, apply at least 24 hours after the burn, so the heat isn't conducted under the cream, but rather helps to heal the sore patch). I particularly love using it to treat the small cuts or peeling around cuticles that can occur when your hands feel particularly dry. Try rubbing into finger tips and nail beds after your mani has dried, or using as a hand cream (massge right into palms and forearms) for a soothing treat before bed. And don't forget to apply to chapped lips either. Super soothing!
#4 Did you know it also heals scars and stretchmarks?
It makes sense that this cream is a winner when trying to heal scars and stretchmarks too. The oil-based formula nourishes skin deeply, so it's also handy to have on hand to deter stretchmarks - perfect for use during pregnancy when skin stretches.
#5 It can also be used to ease the pain of skin conditions
Egyptian Magic Cream can be helpful in releaving the pain of itchy rashes - even on babies! Apply to nappy rash or shaving rash to clam inflamed skin. Even though it's an unmedicated cream, sufferers of eczema and psoriasis have reported great results too.
#6 It's my favourite product for setting brows
I am not a huge fan of traditional brow gels, as I find they can dry and look a little flakey in my dark brows during the day. Rather, a thick oil based cream like this one tends to work better in my opinion. Comb the smallest amount through to keep your caterpillars in place, as well as adding a nourishing, glossy touch.
#7 It also does a great job of conditioning hair
You can even use this cream as a hair conditioner. Rub some through the lower third of your strands when freshly damp out of the shower. Then, wait for 20minutes before rinsing out again. You can leave for longer if you like - I like to pop a movie and some trackies on whilst it gets to work on my dry and split ends! You can also use the smallest amount (and I mean a little) to calm flyaways. Rub a teensy amount between your palms and smooth over locks very lightly. It'll keep strands smooth and shiny!
#8 It even adds glow
You can also use Egyptian Magic Cream to add a little extra glow to your skin. Try squirting a little liquid illuminator or liquid bronzer to your EMC and mixing for a dewy glowy mixture. Apply after your regular base, right onto your cheekbones, brown bones, a touch on either side of your forehead, cupids bow and even down the bridge of your nose. Particularly stunning in summer!
#9 It can also be used as a shaving cream
Feel like your legs get super dry and (gasp) even look like the skin is 'scaley' after shaving? Is it worse in winter? I hear ya! Instead of shaving with a foaming gel or soap, which can be even more drying on skin, try shaving with this cream instead. It'll not only allow for a very close shave thanks to the smooth surface the natural oils create, it'll add moisture during shaving, rather than sucking it all away.
#10 It's even a fantastic make up remover!
Yes! You can even use Egyptian Magic Cream as a makeup remover! Simply rub onto your face, then wet your hands or a cloth with warm water and massage it in. Then rinse and repeat if need be. The natural oils should break down the oils in your makeup as well as the grime present in the skin after a long day out and about. It shouldn't irritate eyes, but steer clear if yours are particularly sensitive (and getting oils right in your eye won't feel very nice regardless!) Much kinder than harsh removers, Egyptian Magic Cream will also leave your skin hydrated post-cleanse. Perfect!
