Product Review: Wilde Organics E'Lustorious Shea

This week, I review a brand new product to not only hit bb, but also to hit the market. I’m talking about Wilde Orgaincs E’Lustorious Shea. Here’s what all the fuss is about…

What is it?: This handmade, totally organic body butter helps with dehydrated skin thanks to it’s only two  - vegan-friendly – ingredients: organic raw, unrefined shea and organic extra virgin coconut oil. Not only do these two ingredients offer high levels of nourishing Vitamins A, E and F, they also provide a light coconut scent.

Packaging: The Wilde Organics E’Lustorious Shea butter comes inside a sleek silver tin, with a twist off lid. I sampled the trial sized pack (coming to some bellaboxes soon! Yippee!) which is exactly the same as the full-size, just a miniature version. Cute! The small tin will also be incredibly handy (no pun intended) for popping in your handbag and applyig to dry cuticles on-the-go. But what are the other uses? Read on...

Texture/Application: While the product is solid in the tin, once rubbed into finger tips, the product turns into a creamy, buttery solution (see above). Once rubbed into skin, it's barely detactable. Just a very, light summery scent, and a very, very soft feeling on skin. It's certainly not as oily as I'd thought it might be, which means you could easily use it before dressing and not feeling sticky.

Designed by a flight attendant for a major airline in Australia, to quench thirsty, flight-stressed skin, it's designed to hit dryness hard, making it perfect for moisturising - espeically on dry spots like elbows and knees. Also ace for pregnant ladies, to keep their baby bump smooth and keep stretch marks to a minimum. You can also use this butter to help get a softer, smoother shave. Simply slather all over legs before shaving. You'll get a close shave and a nourished finish - no scaley legs post de-fuzzing!

Verdict: I'm big on beauty oils, and Wilde Organics E'lustorious Shea product does fall into this category (even though it doesn't look like an 'oil' in it's tin) Once warmed in hands, it's perfect for rubbing all over for soft and smooth skin. One thing that sets this product apart though, is the packaging. Unlike other oils that can easily spill, the butter will stay safe in its tin, so you can throw it into your bag go. The scent also makes it a standout. Once applied, you won't need to add perfume - you'll have the perfect summer scent already!
