When it comes to beauty essentials, multi-use products are the holy grail of makeup artists worldwide. Whether they’re pressed for time, or fall short of space, versatile items are super helpful in covering all bases. Add to that its travel friendly feature that makes for the perfect carry-on, for anyone needing touch ups on the go.
Seraphine’s lip and cheek stick especially gets a seal of approval, proving a handbag staple for all beauty lovers as it offers dual duty. Not to mention it glams up without using parabens, coming in a pretty crimson flush pink finish.
Straight off the bat, there’s a lot to love about the product.
With a formula that boasts longevity, Seraphine’s Lip and Cheek Crayon delivers long lasting, 8 hour colour that is semi matte in finish and velvet smooth in feel. Infused with Quince Seed Extract and Argan Oil, this wonderful product provides the skin with a healthy vitamin boost, and the dose of hydration that’s often missed by other cosmetic crayons. To top it all off, it’s hypoallergenic and vegan friendly.
With both beginner and expert in mind, the crayon is formulated with an easily blendable finish that provides a natural looking stain, whether used as a blush or tint on your lips. Wondering how to wear it? Here are a few of our tips on this much loved beauty buy.
On your lips:
Moisturised lips create the best looking colour and add a natural plump and pout. For the best results, make sure to apply a lip balm before putting on. The great thing about its crayon shape is that a separate liner is not required, allowing you to easily trace the shape of your lips as desired. Once lined, simply draw the crayon onto your lips and use your ring finger to smudge out its tint, and bring out the velvet matte texture.
Top with a gloss, or wear on its own.
As a blush:
Similar to your lips, skin is best prepped for makeup once you’ve applied moisturiser and primer. After finishing off your base, whether using a foundation, BB Cream or letting your natural skin shine through, glide the crayon onto the apples of your cheeks. Follow up using a soft blush brush and blend for a natural finish. An easy mistake when using such products is getting carried away when drawing on the crayon. Keep in mind that it’s much easier to add on product than to remove, so always start off softly and blend as you go. A tip when applying cream blushes is to be super light handed, applying close to no pressure on the crayon, while using gentle strokes. Blend with the brush going out and away, towards your ears. Gradually apply more coats if you desire a more vibrant look.
