When it comes to nails, neutrals are my new thing. Doesn't mean your mani has to be boring though! I've loved the Jacqueline Burchell gradient sets ever since they hit the bb online store. Now that I've donethe pink seta few times, I'll be moving onto theChocolate kit, which is a little more subtle, but still fun. An even bigger steal when you consider you can wear them all individually (try painting all nails the middle peachy-tan shade for a less OTT look) or of course, all in unison for a fun multi-tonal touch.
I never met a bold lip I didn't like, and a coral red tone is my top choice for summer. It'll look gorgeous with a shimmery bronzer, and will be easier to maintain on balmy nights out than a smokey eye (who can carry their entire shadow/liner/mascara kit with them in a clutch? Not me!). Try the Apricote shade (pictured above). Or, if you are a pink girl, go bright or go home with the stunning Vigne shade. Plus, the best feature of this product will help your lips stay fresh - each Bite lippy contains anti-aging properties to avoid creasing and feathering in the future. Clever!
Dry skin seems to follow me around, season to season. Be it summer, or winter, I need to stay on top of my moisturising regime, otherwise it's dry legs for days. For when I've been less than dilligent, I'll use this balm from Kosmea. It's formulated with premium certified organic ingredients including rose hip butter and shea butter, which means it's choc full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids. It's like an instant skin remedy for a whole lot of dermis probs that'll rain on your beauty parade.
I can't survive without a hair treatment. Ok, that sounds dramatic, even I'll admit. But let's just say, I really struggle to feel like I'm having a good hair day, or make that hair week, if I haven't used a treatment within the past 7 days. So, I alernate between this one from Suigo and the protien treatment from Unico. It contains Pure Essential Oils and Wheat Protein that apparently helps your hair to hang on to its natural moisture. I say apparently, because I don't know much about the science behind it. What I do know, is my hair will go from feeling like it needs 2 inches chopped off, to healthy, smooth and shiney sans drastic cut.
My pals have been busy baby making lately, which means my summer will be full of play dates, cuddles and general cuteness! YAY! But let it be known - those little munchkins be more messy than a mani gone wrong before it's dried! Thankfully, I discovered Herban Essentials a while ago (my first week at bb to be exact). They're individually wrapped towelettes that not only wipe away grime, but are naturally anticeptic and antibacterial (your welcome mums). Plus, they actually smell good and won't dry out skin thanks to the oils within. I like the lemon scent best - it's also a must have for post-gym cleansing on the run, or to wipe off excess sweay sunscreen after a day at the beach.
