I’m very sad that summer has left the building but excited about the new autumn makeup colours and fashion. ModelCo Party Proof Lipsticks have an amazing range to choose from and have been one of my favourite lipsticks since the gorgeous founder of ModelCo Shelley gave me some to try. I love At The Disco but have had a go at most of colours. Be brave a try a new colour! And a little secret from Shelley and I to you...
“We know that women are incredibly time poor and love the convenience of shopping for their beauty needs at Woolworths. It makes perfect sense for ModelCo to adopt a new way of communicating to these women. By enticing them to try our products alongside the instant gratification of our amazing prize pool we knew we had created a win-win situation!” - says Shelley.
Good luck (I'll be entering too!)
Another product I am loving this month, dear diary? Aquaverse! It's a new autumn/winter favourite and is owned by an ex football player that confessed to us that he and most of his footy mates use skincare! Pop in your hand bag, or in your desk draw for super soft hands all year around - Sam
This month’s theme had me thinking, what beauty tips and tricks do I have that I could share with our amazing members?
Too many to share, but here are a few to get our members motivated...
For those pick me up moments when you need a healthy glow, but don’t feel like throwing on a ton of makeup, I call upon St Tropez Gradual Tan Plus Anti-Ageing Multi-Action Face Cream. I apply it each night before bed. It keeps you looking young and vibrant, tightening the skin while you sleep, however also giving you a tint of colour that will leave you looking like you spent the evening sunbathing in Cabo. Beauty sleep at it's finest.
A simple beauty tip, which many seem to forget about, is hand care. Your hands are highly visible, age tremendously due to the constant overexposure to Australia's harsh environmental elements - and let’s face it, no one likes to see a gorgeous ring sported by dry scaly skin! You must try Allegra Rhodes- I like the Sweet Apple and Grapefruit Hand and Nail Cream. It is one of my absolute favourites. The smell is long lasting and good enough to eat, with the formula leaving a non-greasy feel, perfect for moisturising and continuing to go about your business (slime free).
Lastly, take a chill pill. Stress causes serious problems to your overall skin health, so it is vital to sit back, relax and breathe. What better way of doing that than in a Glamourflage Madam Em filled Bubble Bath. The smell, the soothing and nourishing properties to your skin, will leave you feeling a million dollars. Honestly, you can thank me for it later - Vanessa
Wow! i haven't done this since I was in high school! And how things have changed since then, not to mention my skincare an beauty regime! Luckily, at bellabox, when looking for new and exciting products, we try our best to cater for everyone at all age groups, with all skin types.
Something that I definitely would have used in my teens would be Dermalogica Clear Skin- as a teenager, i suffered from terrible, terrible acne; just thinking about it now makes my skin crawl, and how ignorant I was and used to wash my face with soap - EEKKK!! Im sure if I had access to this range back then, i probably wouldn't have suffered as much as i did with acne!
Also a god send for acne are the new WOTNOT facial wipes for oily skin... I absolutely adore the original facial wipes, I seem to have a pack in every room of the house, and in the handbag as well, and these new wipes are great for not only teenage skin, but sensitive, oily skin as well - would have been perfect for me way back when!!
But what am I using now you ask? Coconut Revolution? I just can't seem to get enough of this brand at the moment! I am very tempted to start using the cooking range... is that taking my love of coconut too far??
And lastly, the Natralus Paw Paw Gel- we recently sampled the Paw Paw ointment and I have been using this on anything and everything - including a rash that was developing on my 3 year old daughter! She had been to see 2 doctors, I had applied 2 medicated creams, both of which didn't work, so I thought I had nothing to loose by applying the ointment, and to my surprise, the rash disappeared! I was equally keen then to try the Paw Paw gel.. it is quite refreshing and not as heavy as the ointment - great for refreshing your skin - I find myself using it as a toner, or applying it to my skin after ive been in the sun for a couple of hours - Natalie
Thanks BMs! Have you tried any of these items in your box this month? Or perhaps your were already a fan? Let us know in the comments below!
