Welcome to Monday and the new start of the week bellas! To kick off the last week in Feb (what a short month!) we've rounded up some of the things that thrilled us this month...
Marketing maven and PR pretty Vanessa and Emily from the bb team caught up with the Real Housewives of Melbourne ladies at their official launch party last week! They met the lovely Jackie and Andrea - certainly fit our Red Carpet Ready theme of the month! Do these ladies ever have a 'day off' from dressing up? We somehow doubt it! And it seems like a nude lip is IN from this pic of all four girls. You can get your fix with one I just started trialing - the Om She Aromatherapy Lipstick in Truth.
We tuned in to watch the first episode on Foxtell last night - and it's safe to say we are already addicted! You can tune in next Sunday at 8.30pm EST!
Speaking of stunning ladies who look like they are always on-duty - we rounded up plenty of products from the Feb box in the Editor's letter. Check out a few of the items we featured that can help you get Red Carpet Ready, like the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner. Of course, brunettes and red heads need not fear. We also included other haircare ready items in our Feb box, like the AlfaParf range (a bb favourite) as well as a Romy's Shampoo and Conditioner. Their products are really on the up in Aus - you can even find them in boutique hotels around the country, bringing them into the same league as some heavy hitting British brands (think Molten Brown). Unlike the celebs, many members didn't have to fork out hundreds on a penthouse suit to try it though - these duos could be found in a few Ready Carpet Ready Feb boxes!
This month we also followed a couple of 'How To' tips, and tricks. First off, we aced taking the perfect pic. Because we are sick of rolling our eyes at, and subsequently deleting less-than-flattering selfie shots from our phones! These tips will have you (and US!) loving each adn every shot from now on. Click through for more, including celeb advice used on the regular when it comes to red carpets...
Secondly, the scary-sounding, but totally tame - How to give yourself a nose job... Intrigued? Read more here.
Another exciting moment was we snapped up Zoe Foster's latest literary offering - The Wrong Girl - and got busy reading over the weekend. But not before we styled up this cute shot with some of our favourite items from Feb including Shanghai Suzy, Pret-A-Polish and Scandal Cosmetics. They say never judge a book by it's cover, but in this case, we couldn't help it - we just had to take some inspiration from the seasonally-on-trend colour pallet.
Last, but by NO means least - a little Leo for your viewing pleasure. Because the Oscars are just around the corner and we can think of no one else we'd like to stroll down the RC with.
Who would you go with (or take!) as your red carpet date? Sound off in the comments below! - Lauren
