Of course it makes sense bronze is trending right now! At the first sign of sunshine, many a lass will shed her winter layers to bare her pins (even in Melbourne when it's only 18 degrees!) and I know I've already covered bronzing in your makeup routine - yes, I'm THAT keen! - but now it's offically time to talk bronzing your bod - your pins in particular. Here are the products on high rotation at bb right now and what they're being used for!
This is our favourite 'fake' tanner right now. The light shade can has been shared around the office the minute mini skirts were dusted off and brought back out of the wardrobe. Ali (the soon-est to be, bb bride) has confirmed she will be sporting this the night before the 'big day' at her rehersal dinner, to show off her pins in a sweet little jumpsuit, and has already reserved a can just for this occassion.
Joy of joys, I have a few naughty spider viens gracing my legs that particularly bother me at the start of Spring. When the lack (read: laziness) of fake tanning means my legs are bare and pale, this is when the imperfections are all the more visible. So, when I heard about prtty peaushun (pronounced pretty potion) and how a whole list of celebs use it to prep their pins, I wanted in! It's a coloured skin tightening body lotion, designed to improve the condition of the skin whilst concealing minor imperfections and enhancing definition. The best news? It's soon to be stocked in the bb online store. Stay tuned for a more in-depth product review!
One of Brand Director Sam's favourite dry-skin products, is this staple from France. A quick spritz over legs helps to give them a glossy sheen, and a slightly bronzed shimmer. For extra oomph, add a touch of your favourite bronzing illuminator. I even use this oil to shave my legs (instead of lathering up with soap) to keep pins moisturised, and lock in any fake tanning products, rather than strip them from the skin.
Goe Oil is bb staffer Emily's favourite - she even has a tube sitting on her desk at all times. It cures all cases of really dry legs, with 100% natural products. A combination of 28 plant fruit and flower oils and butters, and lightly scented with Monoi from Tahiti, you can use this multipurpose product all over the body, on dry areas of the face, to the ends of the hair and even mixed with liquid and cream makeup products to lighten or add extra moisture. The smallest touch of this oil brings out the natural bronze tones in your skin in a flash - perfect for when you're running out the door in a rush but need to bring those pins to life.
