Last week, we held a poll where we asked our bella beauties what lip look they'll be rocking this soirée season. The result? It turns out the most popular lip look is natural tints, and we can't agree more! Natural tints are gorgeous for the spring season - read on for the different products to help you get the perfectly tinted kissers!
1. Liquid Tint
Liquid tints generally have a gel-like formula and give your lips a pretty sheer wash of colour and a 'just bitten' look. MeMeMe's Cheek and Lip Tint in 'Poppy Tint' is a soft petal pink that can be used on the lips and the cheeks. Simply apply to to the lips using the brush applicator and quickly blend with finger. You can also build the colour of the tint, just wait for the first layer to dry and then reapply and blend. Liquid tints are like a stain, so they are quite long-wearing - bonus!
2. Cream Tint
Cream tints are generally more nourishing than liquid tints, but just like liquid tints, most cream tints can also be used on the lips and cheeks. The perfect example is B By Bloom Col.lecta Colour Cheek Tint. It has a creamy and smooth formulation that is super blend able. Available in 3 lovely shades, this is the perfect product to pop in your handbag for quick lip and cheek touchups!
3. Tinted Balm
Tinted balms, just like the name, is a lip balm that has a hint of colour. Get really get the best of both worlds with a tinted balm - nicely conditioned lips and natural colour. And we have quite a selected here at bb! Yes to Carrots Lip Tints are 95% organic and contains coconut, jojoba and sunflower oils for extra moisturisation. Another gorgeous natural tinted balm is the luk beautifood Lip Nourish. They're 100% natural and made with an edible food recipe (edible balm? Say what?!). Last but not least, we have Carmex Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm in Sheer Pink Tint. Yes you heard right, everyone's longtime favourite Carmex lip balm has just gotten some colour!
