I prefer the cloth mask variety (yes, the type that makes you look like Halloween has come early!) and my favourite brand is Facial Fresh. Available in a huge range to address whatever skin concerns you may have (check our Lauren's amazingly helpful article here to see which type your skin's screaming for!), Facial Fresh's Cloth Facial Treatment Masks come in convenient and hygienic single use sachets and they're priced from just $8.95 - just a fraction of what you'd pay at a day spa for the same result, nice!
I've chosen the Hydra-Surge variety, to give my skin an intense moisture boost, which will replenish and protect my slightly dehydrated skin (my face doesn't react too well to this constantly changing weather!) As Lauren's article explains, and I can vouch for, these cloth facial masks are so quick and easy to use - simply cleanse and dry your skin before removing the mask from the sachet and carefully unfolding. Place the mask on your face, smoothing it closely onto your skin as you go. Leave on for 15 minutes, before removing and discarding. Excess serum can be removed with a tissue - or, if you are about to go to bed, massage the excess into your skin, so it can continue its good work overnight!
So I've got my mask at the ready, all set to put on then relax with some trashy TV (current fave - old school Laguna Beach! How did I not know there was a third season, featuring LC's little sister Breanna, until last week!?) then remove to reveal fresh, fabulously glowing skin!
Do you love face masks too? Why not use one this weekend - your workmates will wonder which day spa you visited come Monday! - Bridget
