Welcome to what’s in my bag, where we raid the bags of bellabox staff members and special guests and find out exactly what they’re carrying around with them.
I’m kicking off this series with my very own bag. What am I hiding? Time to find out!
The Bag: Mimco circa 2010, I have totally thrashed this bag and it has held up amazingly. I use it almost every single day and I’ve taken it overseas with me multiple times.
Lips
I always have multiple lip products in my bag. I have the driest lips in the world and I need all the help I can get to keep them nice and smooth. Right now I am alternating between ChapStick EveryDay Lip Care and EOS Lip Balm which I picked up in America. It always seems to show up in music videos for singers like Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lopez (this is the main reason I bought it). For colour I am obsessed with Rimmel Apocalips in Phenomenon. It has a peachy colour that is as pigmented as a lipstick but with a really nice glossy shine.
Beauty
I rotate through my hand creams a lot, but lately I’ve been throwing my MOR Hand Cream in Neroli Clementine in my bag to use throughout the day. I really like the scent, and even though it’s really moisturising it is light and absorbs fast. My nails aren’t in the best condition right now, and whenever I remember I try to apply Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream to my cuticles. This is available in the bellabox store! And I don’t tend to cart much makeup around as I apply it before work, but theBalm Cindy-Lou Manizer is the absolute best highlighter I have ever tried and it really helps give me an extra glow during the day. I should have a brush with me but I don’t, so I often just dab a little onto my cheekbones with my fingertips if I need to do a quick touchup. We’ve got this in the bellabox store as well.
Accessories
I’m never without my phone, and it’s practically an antique now as it’s an iPhone 5. But I just got my battery replaced so I’m not quite ready to switch to a 6 yet. I always have some kind of mints in my bag as I hate chewing gum but like the idea of fresh breath! And my Persol sunnies which should really be in a case but are not. Not pictured are my wallet which is overflowing with old receipts for minor purchases that don’t need to be kept, and my keys.
