Who are nak?
nak are the Australian hair care company offering the professional hairdressing industry with premium products. nak also provides useful products that really work for ‘hair devotees’ to use at home for professional results in their own ensuites! Encorporating the lifestyle driven influences of the Australian culture, nak products are inspired by Australia’s location, landscapes and environment. Of course, all nak products are Australian made and owned, and are ingeniously designed to combat the drying, damaging effects of the harshest climates – which we Aussies know about all too well!
What is the nak range?
The nak range consists of five focus ranges – nak Cleansing, nak Styling, nak Treatments, nak Blonde, nak Aromas. The cleansing range is great as the cornerstone of basic haircare – shampoos and conditioners. The Styling range is full of fantastic finishing products, whilst the nak Treatment range restores and nourishes almost any kind of hair damage. The Blonde range is specifically designed for colour treated blonde, white or grey hair and the Aromas range is designed for any colour treated hair from blondes, to brunettes and even red heads. All products are based on a marine biocomplex to get the most out of your hair. Don’t forget that nak caters to the guys as well! We are loving the nak Outakontrol Matt Clay for the boys, which rates as an 8 out of 10 on the hold factor scale and can be used to create uniform structure or untamed styles (plus it smells good too!)

We have more than a few nak product picks here at bb! If we had to narrow it down however, we’d be torn between the nak Aroma Oil and the nak Diamond Polish.
The nak Aroma Oil with argan is a leave in treatment for strands that can do with a dose of shine and vibrancy. As part of the aromas range, this oil also provides thermal and colour protection for treated locks. Restoring dry damaged hair, controlling frizz and improving overall condition and manageability, the aroma oil is a real winner in the bb books!
The Diamond Polish cream is ideal for creating for sleek styles with plenty of shine. Use it before you blow your hair dry to protect against heat damage (an especially important haircare step for those who use straighteners/curlers too) for smoothed down cuticles and plenty of shine. The polish also makes it easier to comb tresses- knots begone! You can also apply the Diamond Polish to your ends as the finishing touch of a sleek style. Simply run a little through your ends to eliminate fly aways and frizz. Viola! Perfect hair!
