bellabox Naturals Box: Review

Jenna reviews our newest Limited Edition drop; The Naturals Box.

Jenna is a mother of two and doesn’t have time for products that aren’t fit for purpose. Read on for her entirely honest review of our latest Limited Edition.

“I have to say the moment we talked about developing this at bellabox, I’ve been excited. Like so many other self-confessed beauty junkies, I’ve been doing my best to try and find ways to make better choices for both the planet and my body where beauty and skincare are concerned, and there's extra bonus points if I can also use these products on my kids!

Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Liquid Soap, Peppermint has long been a staple in my household for a number of uses. This product sits in my shower and my cleaning cupboard. It is MAGIC. A little goes a long way; I use a small amount on a washcloth to cleanse my body in the shower and dilute it with water to produce a general all-purpose spray for around the house. This has a special place in my heart for ridding walls of sticky fingerprints and crayons.

Vanilla Mozi Bite-Proof Body Cream was introduced to me by my mother in law a few years back when she returned from a trip in the NT and honestly we are still using the same tube! It lasts forever and has the most beautiful smell - a far cry from mosquito repellent, which (let’s be honest) means you’re more likely to use it. The best part is how effective it is (like an invisible cloak) - coming from the person who is always the one that gets bitten in any outdoor gathering. This is a revelation and safe for the kids too!

If you’ve been with us for a while, you’ll know how much we love this brand! And Weleda Firming Night Cream Pomegranate sits high up on the list in our bedtime skincare regime. A new favourite for me for sealing in the goodness of my night-time serum, I wake up looking like I slept for 8hrs and remembered to drink enough water the day before! Skin Saviour!

People4Ocean SPF 50 Vegan Mineral Sunscreen I love a mineral sunscreen as I tend to suffer with problematic skin at the same time every month! But this seems to glide on effortlessly and isn’t too sticky / thick that I actually feel like I’m wearing sunscreen. The smell is subtle and fresh.

Clean & Pure Manuka Honey Lip Balm has actually been transferred from handbag to handbag – and that’s always a good sign that I like the product! This is extremely hydrating and lingers on the lips. I love that it is Australian Made. Did you know you can actually eat every single ingredient? It sent me down a rabbit hole. With a product so close to my mouth, do my other lipbalms have edible ingredients? Unlikely. Terrifying.

Harvest Box Salted Caramel Almonds - cannot get enough of these. We’ve featured them a couple of times in our subscription boxes and they always go down so well with our members (and staff) that they keep coming back by popular demand, and for good reason. It’s just enough ‘naughty’ at my 3pm energy slump.

Grants of Australia Whitening with Spearmint Natural Toothpaste - Fluoride Free I’m ashamed to say that I have actually never tried a Grants toothpaste before, not sure why, I really enjoyed the subtle spearmint flavour. There are so many natural toothpastes out there, but Grants really do know what they’re doing (since 1984 no less).

I really enjoyed introducing my shower and routine to etch&ethos Hydrating Body Wash in Botanical Bloom. It says ‘hydrating’ and it means hydrating. A beautiful natural scent that’s not overpowering and it didn’t feel like it was stripping my skin of oils or moisture. Plus the bottles are made from 50% recycled milk bottle plastic in Australia."

The bellabox Naturals Box is available in both Australia for $49.95 & New Zealand for $59.95 for a limited time only.
